Special Issue Information

In our journal In Vitro Diagnosis, a special issue is calling for papers about the liquid biopsy.

In vitro diagnostic (IVD) liquid biopsy testing is an innovative technique for testing samples to identify various diseases and their stages in the living body. Testing samples at the right time can be beneficial in preventing the onset of disease in vivo. IVD liquid biopsy tests are a very effective tool for diagnosing various diseases such as cancer and other stages of the disease. Accurate diagnosis of cancer in its early stages is crucial to the survival rate of cancer patients.

Body fluids such as blood and other body fluids are used for testing. The use of biomarkers helps to detect disease at the molecular level, a process that is very helpful in preventing cancer at an early stage. IVD liquid biopsy testing is a very advanced and modern technique in the disease treatment industry. IVD liquid biopsy tests have various benefits over standard biopsies as they are very fast, easily accessible, show a comprehensive tissue profile, are less painful and can be performed minimally invasively.

This special issue welcomes theoretical and applied cutting-edge research on IVD liquid biopsy testing. We could discuss topics aroundtypes of liquid biopsy, cancer screening by liquid biopsy, the research of biomarkers, the cost of liquid biopsy, regulations about liquid biopsy, etc.Potential topics include but are not limited to the ones mentioned above.
