Section Collection Information
Dear Colleagues,
A variety of quickly developing intelligent and autonomous systems and objects, such as self-driving cars, artificial pancreas, Internet of Things (IoT), M2M-enabled advanced manufacturing robots, or wearable health monitors, are mostly driven by smart systems. Modern integrated smart systems process huge data, handle machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, and allow enhanced or augmented decisions to be made either independently or collectively. Integrated smart system solutions are the core building blocks of Industry 4.0 ecosystems in industrial settings. Aspects of modern smart systems' design, such design for reliability, life-cycle analysis, or sustainable electronics, also reflect current socioeconomic concerns.
To make judgments and design a smart environment, smart systems incorporate sensing, actuation, signal processing, and control. The Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) are being developed significantly thanks to the development of smart systems, which are the next generation of computing and information systems. Smart systems combine artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber-physical systems, edge/cloud computing, pervasive/ubiquitous computing, big data analytics, and IoT technologies to provide real-time networked information and control. This Special Issue aims at the theory and practice of AI based smart systems and IoT technologies and welcomes original contributions and review papers that are relevant to the potential areas.
So, research articles, reviews and studies in this area of study are welcome. We look forward to receiving your contributions.
