Dear Colleagues,

In the modern medical system, early diagnosis, standardized therapy, and regular monitoring are the clinical treatment principles of various diseases. Due to possess distinctive properties such as bulky molecular size, higher-order complex structure and sensitive nature, biotechnology-based therapeutics, including recombinant hormones, vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, nucleic-acid-based products, therapeutic enzymes, stem cells, genes and so on, have been administered and applied. Specifically, nanobiotechnology, the combination of nanotechnology and biotechnology disciplines, has been developed to improve the traditional biotechnological methods and overcome their limitations, such as the side effects caused by conventional therapies. However, nanobiotechnology with more remarkable efficiency should be further explored in various techniques, including drug delivery, diseases diagnosis, and enzymatic processes.

Thus, we are interested in the design and application of biotechnology techniques that benefit the most from nano-biotechnological approaches, which are categorized into four major fields: medical, industrial, agricultural, and environmental.

For this, it is important to collect the formulations of different biotechnology systems for various operational fields.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
