Section Collection Information

Dear colleagues,

The impact of traffic and industrial pollutant emissions affects the share of green areas in cities and the health of residents of large cities. The activities of the municipal authorities may contribute to the reduction of unfavorable factors in the environment, which will improve the quality of life while ensuring economic development. Due to the fast growth of urban areas and the number of city dwellers, as well as the increasing importance of e-commerce in regular business practices, it is important to find solutions that will help reduce the negative impact of the transport systems on the city environment. This is one of the most important aspects of the effort to make our cities more user-friendly.

This Section Collection "City Logistics" will include papers focused on different topics related to the development of sustainable urban freight transport and the implementation of environmentally friendly solutions in city areas.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

1. The influence of urban freight transport on the environment;

2. Goods distribution in different city types;

3. Safety problems in urban freight transport;

4. New trends in ecologistics;

5. Computerization of urban infrastructure;

6. Utilization of telematics systems (UFT) in urban freight distribution;

7.Utilization of alternative delivery systems;

8. Alternatively fueled vehicles and the implementation.

Thus, we welcome research articles and reviews that discuss this topic. We eagerly anticipate receiving contributions from researchers in this field.
