Section Collection Information
Dear Colleagues,
Given the increasingly stringent rules and regulations worldwide aimed at minimizing the impacts of domestically and commercially generated wastes, there is an urgent need to search for more sustainable materials to meet global needs. The pursuit of biodegradable and eco-friendly materials faces various challenges, including the cost-effectiveness of material manufacturing, sources of the raw materials, material fabrication and evaluation methods.
The Sustainable Materials section aims to collect comprehensive research or review articles involving sustainable materials, innovative approaches in their fabrication or modification methods, recent breakthroughs, and their potential applications in various fields. These contributions are crucial for environmental protection and enhancing efficiency in resource utilization. This collection serves as a valuable resource for industrial players and researchers evaluating the latest developments in sustainable materials.
Topics to be covered in this collection include, but are not limited to, novel sustainable materials, environmentally friendly methods in material manufacturing, life cycle assessment of materials, environmental impacts of materials, recycling of used materials, analytical methods involving sustainable materials, costing of sustainable materials, and renewable sources for material fabrications or modifications. Furthermore, studies addressing the environmental and social impacts of materials are also welcomed.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
