Dear Colleagues,
Against the backdrop of advancing technology and increasing demands in urban transportation, Self-driving vehicles are regarded as potential tools that can transform the existing public transportation system, enhance travel efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
"Self-driving Vehicles and Public Transportation" is an initiative aimed at exploring the autonomous driving technology and the relationship between Self-driving Vehicles and public transportation.
The core of autonomous driving technology lies in the vehicle's perception and decision-making capabilities. The perception system utilizes various sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors, etc, to gather real-time information about the vehicle's surroundings, including roads, obstacles, pedestrians, and other vehicles, etc. Based on this perception data, the autonomous driving system employs advanced algorithms and artificial intelligence for decision-making and planning. Through these innovative technologies, policy support, and collaboration, we can drive the application of self-driving technology in public transportation, providing urban residents with safer, more efficient, and sustainable travel options. This will help improve urban traffic flow, reduce congestion and environmental pollution, and enhance people's travel experience and quality of life.
The community is highly interested in conducting research related to the intersection of autonomous driving and public transportation. This type of research can encompass various aspects, including technological innovations, policy development, demonstration projects, and implementation strategies, all aimed at promoting the application and advancement of autonomous driving technology in the realm of public transportation. Research articles and reviews in this area of study are all welcome.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
