Dear Colleages,

Materials Technology Reports is an international peer reviewed journal which seeks to provide a rapid forum for communication among materials scientist, chemist, physicist and engineers in the fields associated with Ceramic materials. This journal  encourages  the original research contributions of high quality with an interdisciplinary essence on all topics ranging from oxides to non-oxides of ceramics, glass ceramics, traditional ceramics, technologically low dimensional structures (graphene and its composites, CNT, carbon fibre lines), advanced ceramic materials and composites for its applications in room and moderate – ultra high temperatures, structural ceramics, electro ceramics  which includes dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric, thermoelectric, magnetic, pyro electric, semiconducting, multiferroic, fast ion conducting, superconducting, microwave, insulating ceramics. Optical ceramics which includes transparent conducting, luminescent /chromogenic, electro-magnetic, laser induced, plasmonic structures. Ceramics for nuclear waste management technologies and nuclear reactions.  combinations of metallic and non-metallic organic/inorganic amorphous materials in the form of particulates, porous or solid bodies, films and composite structures.

The scope of the journal covers theoretical and experimental studies, characterization techniques (Optical, electrical, mechanical and magnetic), structure- property relationship and innovative applications of functional ceramic materials in various environment. Besides process related topics such as ceramic joints with divergent materials, scientific aspects which lead to the development of functional ceramic materials which comprises of phase transitions, optoelectronic and quantum effects, surface finishing with conditioning, novel procedures involving energy beams, applied stress, electromagnetic fields, physical and chemical environment in the field of material science and engineering are also covered.  In addition the scope also extends to submissions on design considerations with modelling and simulations, testing under virtual/realistic conditions up to Nano scale for industrial applications, bio enabled, bio-inert materials for its medical applications like bio imaging, tissue engineering, neural interfacing and delivery system.

Looking forward to your nice contributions.
