Dear Colleagues,

Engineering mathematics is a branch of applied mathematics, which is used as an integral tool mainly in solving engineering and industrial problems in today's world. Engineering mathematics is an interdisciplinary field, which meets the needs of engineers both theoretically and practically.

The Engineering Mathematics section of the Journal of Applied Math covers advanced research findings in employing modern mathematical and computational techniques/tools in engineering applications. Also, valuable in-depth and theoretical mathematical findings that have the potential to be applied in emerging technologies are welcomed. Contributions containing data analysis, numerical simulations, mathematical modeling, and optimization are also encouraged.

All related fields of engineering and applied sciences, such as aerospace, agricultural, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, control, electrical, interdisciplinary, mechanical, ocean, and systems, are within the scope and interest of this section. In addition, specialized mathematical and computational fields of interest include but are not limited to, aero- and hydro-dynamics, asymptotic analysis, biological systems, complex systems, diffusive processes, economy and finance, fluid mechanics and turbulence, industrial mathematics, nonlinear dynamics, nonlinear mechanics, nanotechnology, numerical algorithms, scientific computing, social systems, stellar astrophysics, theoretical biology, and wave propagation.
