Dear colleagues,
Quality management, Six Sigma, lean thinking and green management are different but complementary approaches to improving the individual and organizational performance of production and service companies. Quality management systems rely on evidence-based decision-making to solve problems and drive improvement. Six Sigma is a methodology that reduces defects and variation in processes, resulting in higher customer satisfaction and lower costs. Lean thinking is a philosophy that focuses on eliminating waste and adding value from the customer’s perspective. Green management is a concept that integrates environmental sustainability into business practices, reducing environmental impact and enhancing social responsibility.
By combining these approaches, production and service companies can achieve multiple benefits, such as increased efficiency, quality, profitability, innovation and competitiveness. Moreover, they can also reduce risks, waste, cycle time and environmental footprint. Therefore, applying these practical techniques can help production and service companies achieve excellence and sustainability in their operations.
Thus, we are interested in the Production and operations subjects in the framework of improving organizational performance through the use of total quality management, Six Sigma lean thinking and green management with the aim of improving individual and organizational performance in production and service sectors. Research articles and reviews in this area of study are welcome.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
