One of the main challenges of the construction sector is the ability to improve its productivity and performance in controlling costs and deadlines. The traditional models of construction project management will undergo profound transformations with the advent of digital tools, a new integrated view of projects focused on their performance and not only on their execution, and also the incorporation into the decision-making and management processes of soft skills and new management approaches.

This Section seeks to gather a set of contributions on emerging topics in construction management, convering a wide range of topics such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, project management, cost and schedule modelling, delivery models, financing models, etc.
