Section Collection Information

Dear Colleagues,

Immunological research is important in understanding many diseases. Clinical immunology includes diagnosis and treatment of inherited or acquired failure of immune system that results in infections and autoimmune conditions (Immunodeficiencies). It also includes autoinflammation and allergic diseases also known as anaphylaxis(abnormal immune response to any food or substance).

The section focusses on research investigations on basic immunology, translational research and clinical studies associated with immune system. It includes cellular and molecular based immunological aspects of diseases due to impairment of immune system itself and other systems, where immune mechanisms play a major part in the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations. It also includes allergic conditions, primary immune deficiencies and systemic autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions. Our objective is to increase understanding about immunity in health and disease by publishing relevant literature in clinical research, introducing new animal models for immunologic diseases, hematological diseases, viral immunology, and clinical laboratory immunology. In addition, the journal highlights innovations and latest advances in diagnosis of immune disorders and therapies in the field of immunization. All submissions will be subjected to peer review prior to acceptance by the section editors and must meet the peer-review and ethical criteria set by the journal.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
